Meet emma

Hello! I am Emma. If you were expecting a blonde with curly hair, I can understand your surprise. In fact, my name is Marc-André. All my friends call me MA. This is what inspired me in 2019 when I founded emma Mktg.

At 40, after having spent 16 years working for international companies and a few advertising agencies in the Montreal area, I founded emma mktg.

I ended my corporate journey as Vice-President, Strategy and Insight. My role was to watch over 14 well-known brands and ensure that their positioning was clear and well defined. Another of my responsibilities was to be the brands’ guardian and make sure their branding would stay on track. It wasn’t an easy task. However, in these functions, I understood that my strength lay in my rigor and my ability to leave my tastes aside to let brands live through their branding.

Today, at emma, we have fun! I work with a small group of highly talented people: copywriters, graphic designers, illustrators, writers. In short, we are all a bit lunatic and way too intense.

We’re allergic to phrases like “we’re going to have a contest in the office to find the name of the new product” or “we’re going to put the different logos on Facebook to see what people prefer.”

At Emma, ​​we like to repeat it; we focus our practice on working exclusively with companies that value a job well done and stories well told.
